GURORPANAM

Guru Purnima is a significant and revered festival in Indian culture, as a tribute and in the honour of teachers and Gurus who impart wisdomand guidance, Bhavan’s B. P. Vidya Mandir, Koradi organized “Gurorpanam” celebrating the revered Gurus through an array of captivating performances that were a reverent tribute to the sacred bond of Guru-Shishya Parampara. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the distinguished Gurus. The eminent Gurus present on the occassion were honourable Smt. Annapoorni Shastri, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Smt. Lalita Haridas, Kathak dance exponent, Shri Deepak Khirwadkar highly acclaimed tabla expert and former Director of SCZCC and Dr. Sangeeta Nayak, celebrated vocalist who were accorded a traditional welcome with a shawl and Shrifal. Dance teachers Smt. Jayshree Ghaiwat, Smt. Richa Bhattad, tabla masters Shri Shubham Pohane, Shri Pankaj Ware and vocal music teachers Smt. Amruta Pendke, Shri Ashish Khade presented a jugalbandi and combined rendition with their students. The event featured a captivating combined rendition of students singing and dancing with their Gurus that showcased the intricate rhythms and skilful artistry of both the mentors and their students, It was a harmonious blend of wisdom and youthful creativity through an enthralling exchange of performances that celebrated the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect between a Guru and a Shishya. Smt. Lalita Haridas addressed the audience post these enthralling performances and applauded the participants. The highlight of this event was the magnificent rhythmic dance presentation of Smt. Lalita Haridas leaving the audience captivated with her grace and precision. Smt. Vrushali Pahurkar and Smt. Jyoti Singh presented the welcome address. Students, Miss Sanjeevani Sagole and Mast. Aryan Awasthi compered the event in Hindi and Sanskrit respectively. Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt. Bharti Gour.The entire event was coordinated by the Incharge and Assistant Incharge Smt. Mohana Godbole and Smt. Amruta Pendke respectively under the expert guidance of Principal Ms. Sarbani Bose.
